Milwaukee has a much higher share of cars that live outside year-round than the suburbs around it. Three-flats and duplexes with no garage, apartment lots, permit blocks on the east side and night parking rules that keep everything moving. A car that sits outside from November to March is a different maintenance problem than one that sleeps in a garage - the battery works harder, the door seals freeze, the undercarriage never dries out and the salt sits.
That is most of what shapes our work in the city. Batteries and starters in January. Brake lines and suspension in April. It is a rhythm, and after enough winters here you can set your calendar by it.
A driveway is easiest. A legal street spot is completely fine, and most of what we do is finished at the curb without inconveniencing anyone. Apartment and condo lots normally work with the property's blessing - tell us if yours is strict and we will suggest an alternative.
What we will not do is work in a live traffic lane, on a highway shoulder, or anywhere a mechanic would be lying next to moving cars. If your breakdown is somewhere like that, get towed to somewhere safe and we will meet you there.
$79 flat call-out, diagnostic included, 7 days a week, 7am - 7pm. If you decline the repair that is the whole bill.
